Questions

Here are some questions (: if you have one write it in the comment box and I'll answer it.

Q: What is presentation making?
A: Well if you are a Stardoll member, you know you have the option to make a presentation. However you can make absolutely amazing ones. To do this, you have to use something called an HTML code. When you go to edit your presentation, there is a few seconds where black text with funny words in it appears. That is an HTML code.

Q: What is an HTML code?
A: HTML coding is what makes up a webpage. For presentation making, you use a very simple form of HTML coding.

Q: Why is my code not working?
A: Well, the slighest mistake can mess up the whole thing. Check your code thoroughly for any left out things or mispellings. If your absolutely sure there is none, you may have a code that doesn't work.

Q: Do you make presentations?
A: No, I'm sorry. I got in trouble with Stardoll so I cannot do them.

Lessons

Learn how to use HTML for your presentations.

Backgrounds & Text
Backgrounds and text are the first step in learning HTML for presentations. Make sure you're using Mozilla Firefox, or this won't work. Remember that HTML editing site i gave you in the Basics post? Now its time to use it. Take the following code, and copy&paste it into the top of the HTML editing site.
Start

Text Here.
Now lets edit the code! The highlighted parts are the things you can change.


Colours
1. See that code between the # and the ;? that's your colour code. To change your colour, take out whatever code is in there.
2. Open the Colour Code site. Click Sample & find the colour you like. Type the code for it between the # and ; in the HTML site.

Text Fonts & Size
1. Change your font. After it says font-family: you can put the font you like.
2. To change the font size, Change the number after font-size in the code above.


Margins, Text Align and Line Spacing
1. Change the number found after margin to change the amount of margin in your presentation.
2. After it says text-align, you can change the highlighted part by typing left, right or center
3. Change the number found after line-hight to change the space between each line of text.


To drag your presentation onto your account, highlight what's on the bottom half of the HTML editor starting from the part that says Start. Open a tab with Stardoll, and go to edit your presentation like normal. Drag what you've got on the HTML site into Stardoll and put it where you would write what you want to be on your presentation.

how to make your own pres

Firstly You Will Need One Of The Following Softwares::
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Apple Safari

Then You Will Need To Open Microsoft Word && Create The Fonts/Texts You Want. Basically Create Your Desired Presentation On Microsoft Word. To Change The Background Colour, Click The Button That Looks Like A Paint Tin.

Once You Have Finished Making Your Presentation, Log Into Stardoll Using Either Google Chrome, Apple Safari Or Mozilla Firefox.

Go To The Presentation Editor && Delete EVERYTHING Already On Your Presentation.

Highlight && Drag Your Presentation From Microsoft Word To Your Stardoll Presentation Area. ( DO NOT COPY AND PASTE. IT WON'T WORK)

Finally, Save. Once You Go Back To The Normal Stardoll Using Internet Explorer, Your Presentation Will Be Exactly As You Saved It.

COOL AND NEW COMP

HEY GIRLZ, I WILL BE RUNNING ANOTHER COMP@

I saw that the winning competition in the poll was create the best graphic banner for the blog,(with 10 votes) so thats what I decided to do.

How to win:BENEATH STARDOLL 1. It must include:
"Beneath Stardoll 1" in big letters (can be any font and colour you want)
There must be some type of picture.(Like a star doll or at least something to do with the blog) Please don't use your doll as you don't have much to do with the blog and probably wont win. If using a singular doll, you should probably use mine. You can include the writers dolls if you want but you don't have to
"ROSEZ3: THE OWNER" doesn't have to be on it, but you will score more points if you add it, but if it would just ruin the graphic you can lose points, so only if it looks good!
Add in the any corner: "(c)Your Stardoll Username" (write your username)
2. Comment on the "cool and new Competition" post (SEARCH IT ON OUR BLOG) and post your stardoll username and the tinypic link (or twitpic) to your graphic banner
3. Make sure you post it below before the 9th of January, the entries close on 9th January!

When I've seen all the entries, I will make a voting system to see what you guys think of the entrants. But remember, just if you win on the poll DOESN'T MEAN UR GONNA WIN THE COMP! Its up to me and S-E writers (that aren't competing) too.
